I presume they will fit to my S2 with A8 discs? Need new adapters then.

          Hi!,
Be careful here! They look like they are rear calipers. The piston housings, where the Porsche script is, look the same size. Look at the pistons. If they are small and all the same size then it is definately a rear caliper.
Better to source the correct ones then to try and work out the problems later!

The look small for a front caliper. Here are some hints.

1 - Measure how much space there is for the disc. Front discs run 28-32mm. Thinner might indicate a rear caliper.

2 - See if they are for axial or radial mount screws. IIRC the front calipers for 944turboS, 968CS, 928S4, 928GT, etc are axial mounted calipers.

They look the same as these:

The ones shown on the ebay link can be used for 300 mm disks.

                  regards,

                  Erik

Yes, correct hinten is rear, The advertiser tells that this caliper can be used to upgrade calipers of the normal porsche 964.

So it means that I can't put them on my S2?

                          Ok!
                          Prepare for information overload!
                          http://www.pelicanparts.com/MotorCity/wmv/brakes.htm
Somewhere in all that data is the information you need.
There are so many variants. Problem is they all look the same!
                          Good Luck!

Are you running 16" wheels? The calipers you got are rears.

If so then you got a problem. 16"wheels are not suited for Porsche front calipers. 17" is the minimum. Porsche rears on the front of Audi S2 is frowned on here.

Not so mate, you can quite happily run Porsche front calipers on 16" wheels.
