Porsche 911 thats having an engine transplant. They are stuffing an ABY in a porsche.
Looks fun, and all the weight between the 4 wheels. Roadholding should be excellent and spectacular.

If you can read the page, could you tell us why he's doing it?

Basically it's a 1973 Porsche with a 3B and what looks to me like a Quattro gearbox. 993 brakes, 993 rear suspension, stock-ish looking front end. GT2 body kit. Full rollcage. Why he didn't go for a S4 V6 engine I do not under stand. Would sit way better in that car - I mean he did spend cash on all the other bits. I can translate any part of the page you want - a bit hard to sum up 8 pages just like that.

It looks he is having fun. Still a 1973 911 would not be my base car to fit this.

why a quattro trans? wouldn't the torsen burn up now there's nothing to drive behind it? woulda thought a fwd trans would be a better one to use (assuming the internals are still strong enough)

Of course it's a FWD box.

Torsen would "leak" the power out.

Yep theres an FWD version of 016 'box I think - it gets used on a few kit cars - I'm sure I've seen a GT40 kit fitted with it. Cool !

Yeah, I realized that it was a FWD - it just looked wierd on the pics, just like the PTO on a 4WD.. Text sasy it's a 'box from a Audi 100/200.
