Bit off track... (sorry) My 84 UR has 63000 original miles on it.. all docs to prove, not bad for a 23 year old.... mind you i have changed nearly everythink more than once....
So many questions, I'll do my best to answer them all...
It can't be described as "mint", but for a 12 year old car, it's pretty immaculate, and has certainly been well looked after, both interior and exterior. It quickly becomes apparent when you meet and quiz the owner, as to how it's been cared for.
Full leather, heated front seats, carbon interior trim, sunroof, aircon.
Congrats on the purchase Clive!! Thats a damn good looking car.
So, was it the sight of my car at MRC (when I was having it remapped) that turned you to the S2 (yeah right lol) or have you always been partial to the more classic variety? Do you have any long-term plans for it or is it gonna stay stock for good
I have always loved the S2 and thought that if I don't do it know, I'll never do it!
It has to be said that the sight of your car did help me along the way though....
No long terms plans - first priority will be brakes!
Past: S2 ABY coupe RS2 spec with lots of mods, S4 B5 saloon, RS6 C5 saloon, S8 D2 FL, RS4 B7 saloon, S4 B6 avant
Did you source this car from Pistonheads by any chance???
I saw a 59,000 mile sell off there and thought it would have to be pretty nice...
Good luck and gald to hear that MRC looked after you.
Cheers,
Steve.
