Heavy Duty Strut Top Mounts

I've just got a set of these of pete, but havnt fitted them yet so carnt really coment, but the quality looks good and they are made in Germany, but they carnt be any worse than my street density that there replacing as these were knocking within 500 miles.

Meyle are not stupid if they are no better than standard then they are going to have a lot of returns, they strip and inspect the standard part see why its failed then build a new improved version.

i have them on my car. they lowered the car a bit...

That's something I don't want, any more lowering and I'll be beached

Mixed answers it seems

The way I see it, HD bush should be exactly like oe in it's size.
Car should sit no higher or lower than a new oe green mount.
As described by Pete and Meyle the HD bush should last longer and not collapse as readily.
I don't want a track density bush, far to harsh, and I don't want to have to dismantle each side every 2 years because of these feeble oe bushes.

compared them to my (really old) OE topmounts and if there was any height difference it was no more than 1 mm.

Old top mounts are normally very squashed, so if the 034 ones are the same height as old used ones they sound smaller than stock mounts.

yeah alright, but my new one was 1 mm. higher. All in all I can't see the top mounts lowering the car.

Ordered the HD mounts from quattro corner on the 28th Feb arrived 1st March

Mounts £20 each.
