So why is some of the Meyle stuff cr@p? I know it is likely the Chinese made stuff but how do you know what is going to come from "Southern Europe" ("made under the watchful eye of German engineers") and what is junk made in China? Is the "HD" the key point or with the Chinese just copy that logo too?

A very good friend of mine works at a BMW specialist and they're the Meyle dealer/importer for the Netherlands. The top mounts from Meyle for the BMW E28 series are crap and don't last as long as OEM items, wonder if the ones for Audi are better?

I've fitted Meyle HD wishbone bushes to my cabriolet and the're superb though.

the top mounts feel significantly harder than either oem or the street density 034 ones but time will tell. I'm expecting them to be good...will report back as mine typically dont last long

Hmm, here in Finland on Audi and BMW forums Meyle is not respected. They wear out in few tkm and the rubber boots/parts seems to broke very fast. Maybe it's the cold winters..? Or maybe they send all crap to us?

The best parts seems to be made of Lemföder(also made much OE-part).

As stated elseware i have sold 100's of them with no warranty claims what so ever
