Tis a good one that... Anybody seen the new Honda advert with the choir ?

Ain't it a shame that idea went on such a bland brand - imagine the hilarity of the choir trying to make the noises of our cars, with their odd 5-zyl sound and the whistling/screaming turbo, wastegate and turbo-stall sounds ... They'd be a bit perplexed !!!!

Yeah, I though that ad was great, shame the car is so dull.

I have the Audi advert saved somewhere as a whopping sized MPEG-1 file. I actually used it in the lab here to test some video decoder trickery after wrapping it up in an MPEG-2 Transport Stream (like what you get into the back of your digital TVs). Worked a treat - is my favourite test stream. Pity the MPEG-1 picture quality lets it down a bit in comparison to good MPEG-2.

              Sorry I'm waffling now......

I'll try to find the MPEG-1 file I have - I just used VLC to mux it into the M2TS format.

Well I've found a version that I transcoded to MPEG-4 (H.264 Simple Profile, 352x288 25FPS with AAC audio) - again with the wonders of VLC - its a whopping 30MBytes though, but quality is very watchable - even scaled to double size. I use Quicktime for playback.

If anyone *really* wants it I'll see if I can temporarily host it somewhere.
