Yellow S2 Coupe

Back when I was younger, and S2's were a current model, I came acoss a factory S2 coupe finished in pale yellow - and it looked fantastic.
It was for sale at Sytner's BMW ( Alpina ) in Nottingham, and virtually new. There were supposed to be 2 of them, and they were regarded as virtually unsaleable through the Audi dealerships because of the colour, so they wound up in the trade.
I nearly bought it, but had a huge disagreement when it came to valuing my car, which was the only Abt B300 ever built in RHD....but that's another story.
Anybody know where those yellow S2 Coupes are now?

One of them seems to be alive and well in swindon, but everytime I pull up next to him to try and have a chat, he seems to think he needs to race me. due to the red mist effect, all I keep seeing is his car in my rearview mirror :mischeif:. Seems to spend most of his time trying to race anything so my friends tell me. Maybe one day I'll actually get to speak to him, and if i think he's "suitable" (ie: an actual S2 enthusiast ) I'll let him know of our existance.

I've seen a that yellow on a 16V Coupe here in belfast once.

I have never seen a yellow S2 in the UK though there is a nice video featuring a yellow 3B Coupe somewhere in Scandinavia. The video featured some cheezy Europop music. I must have it somewhere.

Lovely colour in my opinion, but then I'm weird like that... I had a chrome yellow Mustang for 3 years. I'd happily trade my boring Emerald green Coupe for any of the 'lifestyle colours' anyday.

I've got an S2 3B launch Press Pack here and a yellow colour named "Gorse" was available as a standard colour for a while, don't know how long though as it's not in my 94 and 95 brochures.
Don't know what the lifestyle yellow colour was called, lifestlye colour supplements are like rocky horse doo-daa.
I'll find one some day

A few screenshots of I think the same movie as mentioned above. The guy who made that is a friend of a UK chap on audifans who now lives near him. (or something like that)
Could have given his car a wash and hoover out first though

I didn't think to look in my S2 brochures, but there it is indeed.
In the 04/94 brochure that pale yellow colour is called Yellow M3, but it is asterisked as not being available in the UK, and in the 08/94 brochure there is no yellow of any shade shown.
