sounds right to me too - AF have insured both my Corrado and S2, and have never asked for proof.

Perhaps you just sound untrustworthy Jamo?

Its not just the S2's that they want to see extra security on. I have a 1995 Coupe and Churchill wanted to see a certificate.

Thought I was clever in changing my Insurer to Direct Line. Then found out both these insurance companies are both owned by the same parent company - so Direct Line want to see a certificate now !!!

I havent been able to supply anything, and they have stated they will not pay any theft related claim that I make.

Has anyone had a good experience with an aftermarket fitter of thatcham alarm immobilsers that fit at your home ???

Flux asked me for the certificate, but only one-off (and only a copy because they didn't want it lost in the post). Now with a firm called Brentacre, who also asked to see a copy of the certificate.
