Sure does. Some guy down the street here sold his Cayenne a couple of weeks ago and now there's a Q7 parked outside his garage (guess the RS4 won't let it in), and it looks so much better!

It's still a fugging ugly huge lump of a beast though isn't it. Still can't understand why people want to buy these things in general! I had a ride in a new LandRover Discovery 3 the other day - jees it was like sitting in the bridge of an Oil Tanker. Horrible.

I am with you Dan. I love Audi, but I hate that with a passion. I *can* understand Audi jumping on the SUV bandwagon (no pun intended) but IMO all these cars are compromised monstrocities.....

I will second to that. VW multivan, on touareg base are not the things I like Audi for. Of course customer wants - customer gets, but where is self respect ?

The reason this and other SUV's are here is because of demand. mainly from housewives for school runs.

The best bit is, they (SUV's) are prolific on the school run around town because nearly every school has 10,000 speed humps around them, and SUV's are about the only thing that can take them without slowing down.

PS - My missus is using the ur-quattro for the school run next week as the S2's in for repairs. - It's a single box exhaust too...

I quite like the Q7, can't argue with that spec either.
