TPS still do the original item for about ÂŁ10. Error 404 is going to make some in due course and then you will know you have a quality product that will last forever. I replaced mine with an original from TPS and will upgrade when Error has made some.

Good point Dave... but, unlikely Error's will be under 30 quid (for sure will be exceptional quality), but means it will cost a fair bit more in the end to wait. The quality of the ytm one is good... plus, you would need (potentially) to bleed the system again. bit of a pita...

There is an aluminium flange listed on eBay for about ÂŁ40. So although it's better quality, should there still be any problems?

was it the one to which I linked?

If so, its anodized and will be fine...

I think I would replace the Audi one with a aluminium one as the plastic piece is known to fail and more than likely will damage your engine before your even aware you have a problem .

LSG I think that's the option I going to take, looks like it will most likely save more money in the long term as well.

                        Good idea...

I would wait for Error's if it will only be 7 - 10 days...
