Best Practices and Legal Considerations for Window Tinting

    Hi everyone,

I’m considering getting my car windows tinted but I’m a bit confused about the best approach. I’ve read about different types of tint films, like ceramic, metallic, and dyed, but I’m not sure which one balances heat reduction, UV protection, and visibility best.

Also, I live in a state with specific tinting laws. How strictly are these enforced, and what are the risks of going slightly darker than allowed?

Any advice from people who’ve had their windows tinted professionally or DIY tips would be super helpful.

As someone who has had issues with factory tint and the law in America I'd not bother unless you were doing the rear windows, the front windows mine you could see from one side of the car out the other side at night and still had to remove them.
