  • Audi 80 Cabriolet headlight replacement options?

Can anyone help or advise please?
1998 Audi 80 Cabriolet with degraded headlamp reflector. It has basic halogen bulbs and isn't the type with a projector lens, but it is one piece with the indicator set below in the bumper.
    I can't currently find a good used one, I can't find a new one.
Has anyone tried fitting the 2 piece headlight and indicator from a basic 80 B3 or B4 model?
I've looked at pictures of wings and headlights online and can't decide whether it would fit. Does anyone know if they interchange?

There is a guy on facebook in the audi groups that refurbishes the lenses and brings them back to mint condition. You can swap out the lens inside if you can just get that piece.

895 941 029 G left and 895 941 030 G right for the full units by Hella, where to find them I don’t know. Tradition do have the left reflector 895 941 152 C, I put my monthly order in today.

        One piece of advice:
Removing and refitting the units can be a tight squeeze, but don’t be tempted to squeeze the flexible plastic lugs that mount the units to the bonnet slam panel (I’m sure I’ve named that wrong!). Loosen and lower the front bumper or unbolt and loosen the slam panel (depending on your feelings r.e. painted bolts) to easily remove the headlamp units without breaking them!

I have a pair from a 1996 2.6 model that I'm dismantling for spares. Let me know or send me a message via pm if you're interested

Do you happen to know anyone who can repair cracks and restore the rear light bars back to new looking?

Is “high end plastic welding and refinishing” a thing or am I dreaming?

              The rear bootlid one?

I've not seen anyone do them, there are decent ones then new but they are stupid expensive
