I am doing an engine design project at Uni. We are completely designing a 1.4l 3cyl 'charged VVT petrol engine. Its going to be really hard, but luckily the engine won't be built...obviously! My group is responsible for supercharging/turbocharging and intercooling.
Basically I am researching the V6 RS4 bi-turbo and the 4.0 V8 supercharged jag engine and also researching lyscholm screw type superchargers. There are 5 others in the group researching other things such as the new golf GT TSI engine and the alpina B5 belt driven centrifugal superchargers, so its a pretty comprehensive and broad research study!
So if anyone has indepth studies into either of those engines that I have to research lurking around on their comp, or knows of a great internet source I would be very appreciative!
