Audi 80e into S2

How hard would it be to convert my 2ltr Audi 80e into an S2? The reason I want to do this is because my S2 coupe was involved in an accident but the mechanics of the care are sound. I also already have the Audi 80 which is in mint condition; the only problem is it's not a 4x4.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Think you would be better off buying a coupe/80/90 quattro as these are cheaper than all the work involved unless you want to stay with front wheel drive

it has been done tho, I think Kim Colins did a converible/S2 4x4 underpinings mix ..cool!

the Q part to the chassi are parts you may by loose by the main stealer. you need to weld it really deasent to the chassi....!!!

get a quattro base shell
FWD and s2 engine spells wheelspin/understeer to me....

Even with a Quattro shell, it is not an easy project but would make a lovely S2 Sedan if done properly.

Its a brave man that commits to a conversion like that!

you could get a B4 2.8 quattro and make the transplant..basically most parts fit right up!

You need a quattro body shell, its a waste of time and money trying to convert a 2WD Audi 80 especially when you can get the quattro shell
