So i didnt do the manifold.(also said forged pistons and rods are not worth it)
He then put me off doing the crank aswell by asking me if any body i knew of broke a I5 crank.
So i promised him that i would do the half shafts(side shafts) diff components and gearbox when i stripped them off the car.
then he started giving me a list of someone that can build strong side shafts

I still intend to do drivetrain components though.
i don't think he wants your business

Talking about gearbox components, but on a slightly different tack, I know alot of guys running big power skylines who run Red Line heavyweight shockproof gear oil, which has dramatically increased the serviceable life of the box..... Its like filling up the gearbox with red paint.... But it does work wonders....

will do my next front discs as well.Shop here tells me that they can cryogenically treat all metal parts and depenting on their structure they can have more or less positive effectiveness. However they cannot do it in components that have rubber or non metal materials as heat and cold will deteriorate them.SO doublemass flywheel is out of the picture.Only single mass can be treated.
I dont know if i would go that far into stripping my gearbox for something like this, although it is said to increase the strength. If it ever fails and i decide to fix it,then i would concider it

currently i have the EM and turbo hotside which im using. Already done the new brake disks i will be using and will do the next EM and hotside.

once i remove the current hotside and EM, BigLee will be able to report if any cracks are found
