which to buy RS2 or S4

Hi,

Just moved to the UK from Australia and I'm looking to buy a quick estate. From what I can see on sites like Pistonheads I can buy either an RS2 or V6 S4 for about the same money, GBP10,000. Some of the S4s I have seen have had brake conversions done similar to RS2s.

Forgetting the status and rarity of the RS2, which one would be the better option for quality, potential upgrades and ease of use?

For upgrades i'd have to say the RS2, more information about the engines, car in general and fountain of knowledge which is this site. Not sure if you will get that for the v6?

What put me off was, S4 is engine out to change a turbo! and they do go wrong.
