Yesterday was a great day.... I had to drive the R8 for a full day to testdrive it. another day at the office...... 
The car is a great piece of engineering. When you get into it, it drives of like any other audi. The engine Revvs happily and this is the only thing that makes it difficult when driving of. It seem like there is a REALLY light flywheel in the car. Audi spend enourmes attention to detail in the R8. Everything seems to fit nicely in there. There is loads of room inside the car, altough it's fairly low. With it's mid engine layout, the weight distrubution is great. it feels a little bit nervous in long high speed corners, but besides that it's properly balanced. It's a quattro, but nowhere drives near a quattro. It drives, reacts, lives, breaths RWD. Here's a small photo impression
