I looked at over 20 projects on motorgeek and search through topics of azman and wahtheking but I can't seem to find a real list of things to do, or extra parts you need, or need be replaced to transplant the 20VT in the cq. An installation guide if you will.

Also, can wiring diagrams for both the 3B engine and the cq be found anywhere on here?

I dont think a step by step guide exists,im doing the same soon into a T85 90 q.Was going to put a V8 in but am going with a ABY now.Everything you need to know is on either this forum or motorgeek. If you cant find it just post a thread on the specific thing you need to know.Heres a couple.

Just picked up a 81 Euro URQ with 100k miles.. It looks like a good one. Got it in San Diego where it spent a yea after spending it's life in Reno Nevada. The car came with no motor( well just shortblock) which i don't really care about sense it is gonna get the 10v motor of death out of my...

OK... So here's the plan Got this 4kq for lets just say...at least free...complicated story... I owned the car first..was originally a parts car when I got it.(had wires cut, stuff gone, etc)..fixed it all, all 4 calipers, ebrake cables...all that stuff. It ran like a champ, then I ended up...

I can supply crappy resolution (I mean it) wiring diagrams if needed. Contact me, if you won't find readable ones...

          I have 3b and typ85q diagrams.

I'm going to do the same with my typ 85 90 quattro (will there be any original typ 85 left?) the most important thing to make it work is an 200 20V flywheel or else the clutch won't work, at least that's what I am told.

the bent steering arm shouldn't be needed when using a 20VT instead of an 10VT

You can use some advises and description from this site:

Wiring is interesting part, because depends on what type of loom You will get. I had the same project few years ago, with low budget, but reliable. It was more or less similar to kwlw.
I will be back with AAN to A80Q '92 in month period, so new experience will appear
P.S. I will spend a lot on IM manufacture.

              L.
