    New R8 Curbed!

Down at my local dealers their brand new R8 has been curbed by the delivery driver when going between the different dealers in the group!
Thought it was very funny when i was giving the car a once over in the flesh and pointed it out to the salesman. Must say is a great looking car and when i sat in it it fitted very well!
Surprising amount of head room, i expected it to be more cramped (though i am only 5'6 and a half, yes the half makes a difference).
Think i would have to take one over the porsche even though a 911 has always been my dream car.
Just trying to figure out how to come up with £77K, and thats with out the trick brakes!

Friend of mine has one and it's superb. I drove it and it goes well. Everywhere you go people turn and stare at you.

On the subject of wheels Audi make you pay a for a separate tyre and wheel insurance. It was £100 as I remember.

Extraordinary steep import duty placed on cars with lots of go power. Duty rises exponentially with engine size, weight and power.
The RS2 retailed for 120K back in 1994 (the S2 Coupe was approx. 85K back then).
