Identity issue

My car's [S2 ABY] registered on 1-1-1996 if memory serves me correct, everything else seems to be in order on official documents. The only thing is on th hpi document, it says the car is a 5 speed it plainly is not. It's the same when i look the car up on the autotrader car check. Just wondering why this would be? Any ideas?

Strange but hey a lot of insurance companies have not got a clue what S2 is what chance have these other people have LOL

Local fella in a parts shop asked me if the S2 was on a 2004 plate And then asked if it was an S3, when i plainly said S2. Oh and then he said he hasnt got the spark plugs, but can order them, they'll be 3 pounds each

I wouldnt worry about the 5 speed issue, quite a few s2s that I've hpi'd say the same thing

Don't worry, try going into a dealership and asking for parts for an S2!!

I've had someone ask me if I meant I owned an Audi A2, not an S2
