    80 B3's and B4's everywhere.

I never used to find seeing Audi 80's a regular thing to do, maybe once a week at most perhaps.

I went to Northern Ireland last week and seen well over 20 in 5 days, including a sad looking Quattro saloon in someone's front garden slowly collecting moss and a 2.6E Avant badged as an S2.

Since coming back to my local area, the trend has continued, although not quite as many. I only went to town and back today and seen 4 of them.

Maybe its a car I never bothered to notice before or what, I'm not sure. Where are they all coming from?!

Nope yu are right - the old B3 & B4 shape is popular over here alright... I'd comfortably bet the numbers of them per head of population are higher than UK average here. Mostly 2WD of course. There is a popular culture of 'badging up' cars here with bodykits and such. Dunno if its done to fool themselves or impress the neighbours

I am currently in Aktau, a small town in Kazakhstan. Audi 80's everywhere here, most do seem to be the 1.8s but there are a few quattros. I think they must buy them up from germany and ship in. They like them because Audi's bullet proof engineering is so reliable. Also a lots of Audi 100's about as well, seen an old S8 and a new Q7 too. I did see a series 3 coupe a week back, not sure what it was as it was debadged, just know it was not an S2. They have a big open air market that sells loads of cheap spares for them but its nigh on imposible to get them past customs at the airport.

I noticed the trend of "up-badging", seen a few single exhaust E60 M5 BMW's too.

Cant be many S2's over there though can there?
