The A2/S2 confusion

This is a genuine conversation I had with a chap at work:

Guy at work:
"Whats that car you got rich ?"

rich:
"Audi S2 avant"

Guy at work:
"Nice, what engine is in that ?"

rich:
"2.2 turbo"

Guy at work:
"Really they put a 2.2 turbo in that little car !?"

I walk away very confused until it dawns on me what has happened
The best thing is he knows I have 3 dogs that travel in the back regularly

I'm not that surprised though as I saw a thread on here some time back that stated that a couple of sales men at an Audi dealership informed a forum member that "Audi never made an S2" and that he had an old coupe

All part of owning one of the forgotten Audis.

One of my favourite quotes from their ringleader was that his 1.4TDi is up to 115bhp and therefore he thinks that it is worthy of the S2 badge!

I actually quite like the cars to be honest, but I don't think I'd admit to owning one if I were to be associated with people like that!!
