Good article, though I suspect the Audi was down on power, it sounded much flatter than mine, or even an S2 which is quieter than a quattro as standard.

^^Yep, ALWAYS wanted a UR, almost sold up 18months back to buy one but the NLA issue decided it for me in the end, Martyn was suggesting so much basic kit as NLA it was scary. Shame, I would love to have had a pearl white or a red UR on the drive. Iconic shape, sound and handling - Audi should be shot for allowing the slow demise of the car through inexcusably poor historic model support.

I feel mightly lucky to own mine, paid £2000 for mine back in January 2006. Just found an old video from the morning i picked it up. Advert isn't particularly detailed for the Quattro but its nice to see good publicity. Alot of the QF members are trying to help maintain the cars by helping Pete Reeve etc as well as getting parts remanufactured themselves.
