Mmm yeah - just so long as Clarkson isn't driving it in usual hooligan mode - oh look how much smug tyre smoke I can make by forcing my right foot to the floor...

And they'll doubtless compare it to the gallardo or 'gaylardo' if you prefer with some nonsense about them having a different personality despite the significant share of mechanical DNA. How the lambo feels passionate but the Audi feels like a sausage - or some other Clarkson-esque balderdash.

And then he'll make the usual quip about Audi drivers being c0cks - cos they all used to drive BMW's - oh do **** off you lanky smug ******. Some of us have being driving Audis for 20 years and more - we didn't all start to notice them when Audi starting some trendy marketing blitz with S-line logos, extensive TV adverts and 'RS' blinged up stylee body kits with sexy wheels. I'm quite sure plenty of ex M3-driving c0cks moved up to these kind of Audi models 'to be different' after they'd had the umpteenth near miss with a hedge or a roundabout in the rain in their Bavarian chariot equipped with the finest ditch finding components that money can buy.

Sorry for the outburst - as funny and entertaining Clarkson can be sometimes - he does talk complete tripe sometimes.

In fairness - I would like to see and hear it properly driven on the old test track by The Stig... Then we'll see what its really worth.
