Why are H&R springs so expensive for an RS2?

H&R springs for an RS2 seem to be 500 pounds, that equals $1,300NZ dollars.
It seems over the top considering I can purchase new H&R springs for a B5 A4 Avant for $350NZ dollars, thats 135 pounds.

Why are they so expensive for the RS2?

Wondering the same my self..... Its actually alot cheaper to get H&R Coilovers rather then going the "cheap" way of Koni's and H&R

    Maybe the springs are Goldplated?

the RS2 HRs are stiffer than the S2 HRs and the difference in price in german ebay is about 150euros. Im not sure what else is involved in them though

An Rs is always an Rs

i f you have an expensive car, you afford expensive parts ( like the dealers and aftermarket manufacturer looks on it)

One thing i've learned we are way behind the Scandinavians!

i was also wondering this ages ago as well, they're silly money just for springs.

I have a good mate who runs AST suspension and was going to get some a load of exact pattern ones made if demand was there. It appeared there was not that much demand tho.

Then why were the H&R springs for my Fathers E30 M3 the same standish price of most H&R spring sets?
