How rare is a RHD S2 limo/sedan?

Cool- what a rare bus indeed. The hand-written 'ABY' is funny but a quick look at the other codes seems correct. The info I have is they were built from 02/93 to 07/94.

Here is what I got off the build tag

WAU= Made in Germany by Audi (duh)
ZZZ = not for North America
8C = body style (B4)
Z = check sum
PA = 1993 model year, built in Ingolstadt
133256 = built in November 1992
8C27L9 = Sales term for Audi 80 quattro, 169 kW/230 DIN hp ABY with AZE rear diff and CGR six-speed transmission

It has been rarely seen,the production and car maintenance of this AudiS2 limo/sedan RHD has been very extinct and i guess that was the main issue we were not able to see as much as this car as we want..I was trying to export it from London through one of my close friend staying there but nothing worked out...The production has been very rare...

Looking for a pair of hoop-type headrests in black leather if anyone can help - the rear ones have suffered in the kiwi sun?

Can be front or rear, avant or sedan, 100/A6 C4 or V8; they all seem to be the same as far as I can tell from ETKA?

Congrats "Whatever2". Nice, rare, car. I presume you are in New Zealand and not the USA (like the flag in your signature - you can edit your signature and select the correct flag). Do you know any other Audi 20VT people in NZ? There are a couple on this forum (e.g. GolfBoy666GTI, Nik G. is one) and there are some (e.g. vbmica) on my home forum (quattroworld). I will send you a Private Mail (PM) with my email address in case you want me to hook you into the 4 or 5 that I have emailed to in NZ.

Also if you want to PM me a photo of your car's build tag (and its location - I don't have any S2 sedan build tag location photos), I can break it all down for you and return it as a WORD.docx with the photo of the build tag and your car imbedded.

As for the rear head rests, as long as they are the open hoop and 260 mm spacing, they should work (your list of potential donors looks correct).

The green ABY RHD S2 sold today, its gone to someone who will look after in. Ive also said they should join the forum.

I am now the owner of the second Audi S2 limo that was sold new in NZ- and emerald green one. I was sent here by Golfboy666Gti. Great to see a forum dedicated to the S2 and all its variants!

Interestingly, now both of the S2 ABY sedans in New Zealand are in Christchurch. This one isn't as tidy as the silver one, and will need a bit of TLC, but it drives well apart from a huge boost leak.

Plans are to tidy it up, my brother has some 16'' BBS RS wheels which will fit straight on, so might run those eventually as well. Looking forward to the journey of maintaining one of these cars!
