You will have to make a transmission tunnel and rear sebframe mount, so baisicly over 1/2 the floor pan. so no not really!
Probably the longet S2 project in history EVER!

And the front windscreen angle is incorrect. You need a coupe quattro and an audi 80 2 door saloon to make a propper looking replica.

it's a shame but no it's not as simple as a subframe swap. It could be done but you are making a lot of work for yourself. When you get you donor car give me a pm as i can supply most of the panels in fibreglass or carbon kevlar.

I may have a urq shell soon if thats any help, won't have the arches or sills on it but you'd change them with a shorty, won't be for a couple of weeks yet.

Looks like a perfect base for one. Good luck with the project, its in a different league to making a mk2 4wd!

yes mate. I have rebuilt 18 land rover's from the ground up and completed 8 20vt conversion's and managed to keep my business going during the recession on my own. I just don't seem to get time or money to crack on with it I am a fool to myself owning 4 project audi's. It has also cost me a small fortune developing the rest of the sport quattro replacement parts but i'm nearly there with everything now. Yours looks amazing i can't wait to see it up close.
