RS3 five pot turbo for the A3

The new I5T motor in the TTRS has been talked about being installed in the A3 for a while.
I have test drove a TTRS and the motor sounds great.
I reckon this will be a great all round car with real power potential.
If they do a sportback and the price is right my name is on the list for one.

You got it in one. The 2.5-litre turbocharged in-line five from the TT RS – essentially half the engine from an RS6

I really like the shape of these cars, altho i still think they need a little more to distinguish them from the S-Line A3 as I dont think theres enough between them for the cost.
An I5 engine would be very nice too!!!

surely an all alloy lump too, so could shave a few precious KG off the front end..... doubt it would be anything like as robust though.........

Anyone else think the A3 looks a bit like an estate style car from the side pictures? Always thought this about the A3 just looks really odd from the side somehow.
