My take is that its a nice (from what I can see) modded Coupe Quattro with some RS2 parts. But not an RS2 conversion. If I had the cash I would be tempted.

I wonder what will be said when Im finished.. who knows when that will be

If I put an S6 plus V8 in mine can I call it RS2+

That's fun thing about having a US Coupe you can keep it stock or converted any way you want. Detail is the most important thing I feel... Half arseness doesn't cut it

              Lol fun stuff.

Im not too worried about badges. Actually Im badgeless on the coupe right now... got the beemer boys confused but they show love when they see the rings at the front.

Dude Id offer you my S2 Coupe bumper but I'd need an RS2 rear to replace it. Find me one and we can work something out
              Cheers mis amigos,

The way I look at the whole "conversion" thing is that it is like a numbers matching Shelby Cobra, GT40, Lotus 7, etc vs a Kit / base chassis built up.

I have nothing against tribute/repla-cars/kits. Seems silly to call it an "RS2 Conversion" when the RS2 parts are basically cosmetic vs. something like Tom's car even though it is not an RS2 chassis vs. importing a real RS2 (legality be damned).

From Ebay "This car is 99% original parts"; original Audi maybe but not original RS2 (the engine is AAN, the trans is B5 S4) maybe I am just being too critical

Really, if I had the cash and knew I could import it I would be on a plane to check it out; same goes for when Anton was talking about selling (glad to hear not).

                  Cheers!
                  Anybody notice then??

Checking carefully this car fits Dunlop Sport SP8080E in 245 size and they look small on these wheels!!

Normal wheels on RS2 are 7Jx17" with 225/45ZR17 tires. Are those 7,5Jx17 or even 8Jx17??

Is the owner around?? Could you please tell us?

                  Many thanks!

Funny, I read "RS2 conversion" and didn't think twice about it. I knew what the seller was trying to say. It's a coupe with a ton of RS2 parts thrown at it. Good looking car.

For the record I started with a six speed ABY S2 avant chassis.

I guess I am coming off as too critical; I just do not care for the lack of info in the listing. When I first saw it I thought it had more RS2 mechanicals vs mainly cosmetic parts. In the end, assuming a good build, I would love to own any of them.

Anyone know if the European Car article specs tire size? The 964 RS America had 17x8s
