Rally of Charlevoix 2011 - Audi s2 from Team Platto
Rally of Charlevoix 2011 - Audi s2 from Team Platto
Last weekend there was the legendary rally of charlevoix going on in Quebec. One audi was competing. With the help of 034 Motorsport, we acheived to finish 7th out of 30 competitors overall. 115km of competition done with only first, second and fourth gear. Thanks to the awesome tuning we got from 034 Motorsport, the engine managed to make it flawlessly to the finish line.
Great to know someone keeps the four rings alive in motorsport over there.
A few photos of my previous car.
My engine spec is .... AAN, ported & polished head, piper cams, tubular exhaust manifold, ported and polished inlet, scat rods, APR studs and bolts, fully balanced, standard K24 on 34mm restrictor, aluminium flywheel, Helix 5 paddle clutch and Helix pressure plate, aluminium front pully, twin pass intercooler, 19 row oil cooler, 7 row power stering fluid cooler, RS4 B7 gearbox, Engine mapped on the road (not a rolling road!) by MRC Tuning in Banbury UK.
More detail on request.
New car is almost ready to go!
Finally, more Audis showing up in the rally circuit. I love the Sprongl brothers car. I remember seeing it in action way back. They do the Targa rally in Newfoundland with it too!!!

K24 is the less effective turbo you can get for the 34mm restrictor, you need the K24/GT28rs turbo to get the more out of your restrictor. Restrictor design is important aswell. Internal are crutial parts to tune if you want to get the more out of your Maping.
Sorry but our engine is a one of a kind and the recipe will not be publicly availabe, only on custom orders, with a seal contract.
