What did yours run in the end ? Thats got to be getting on with it now, even if it is full trim.

Real bad traction day so a lot slower than before did a 12.9 @ 113 whereas on the old engine pb was 12.41 @ 114.

Two main changes from before are the greater powerband with improved torque. And the change in the torsen diff to a greater bias to the back which seems to have made her even more tailhappy.

As Will mentioned changing rear diff on sat to try and take advantage of the rear bias split. Likewise im on the lookout for some better tires, saying that running them at 40psi with 2.5celsius outside probably wasn't the cleverest of ideas

Doing the maths though I think 12.1 is going to be the stumbling block unless I can shake a 100kg.

Bit more testing and we'll see what this season brings.

Should be quite easy to do that on something as heavy as yours without loosing a lot of the creature comforts. Either that or have to stop doing engine work for kfc's

How about those brutal looking, piles inducing, alu kirkey seats you had. A proper man's chair!

swap the front seats out for one of those, the spare wheel and you'd have a good healthy saving.

I did contemplate fitting a rc unit to it as that would save a 100kg :-P

On a more serious note dog cage is coming out as I now have a new daily driver so the dog no longer goes in it and likewise I no longer carry engines in it. Unfortunately aircon has to stay. If I can find a nice carbon recliner bucket that would shake an incredible weight from the two front electric seats. It will also solve my bad seating position as currently I got to tilt me head slightly as the helmet hits the roof. Sure I can find some little bits here and there whilst keeping the car in complete street luxury.

Quattro fever next time going pod will bung a post on the forum.

Same wind noise issue by the sound of it just a different tone. I haven't had a chance to do anything re this as been getting the car ready for paint. But got an idea I wish to try out using an old drinks bottle as an aerofoil.

Only solution is external mic mounted inside the car, but not sure if GpPro has connection for mic?
