What a great video, the chap with the beard is a legend, he just picked that box up and slotted it into place like it was nothing

Then again you do have to be hardy to smoke rothmans

I posted this the other day, I believe the guy with the big tash is mates with a friend of mine, I bet he wouldn't be quite as quick these days.

I was sent the video from a friend of mine who worked for MSD who ran the Hyundai Accent WRC, they only got 6 mins to swap the 4x4 box !

Thats awesome, took me ages in comparison to take the box out my coupe. and then i couldnt get it back in. Gave up and took the engine out to make it easier. What an amateur.

Remember when we did the gearbox swap on mine, it took best part of 12hrs, to do it in 15mins is epic

I had to take the box out of mine a couple a weeks ago and did it in under an hour no problems. I think with a couple of lads I could replace on in under a hour. 15 mins is seriously shifting! No steering arms to remove for them though.

It took four of us 8 minutes incl driving in & out the service to replace the gear cluster on a '02 Lancer EVO WRC during a rally.
There are even teams doing this on latest 'stock' Group N cars during 20 min services.

Not that unusual among certain crews...
