Specifically, the issue with this short RS2 article. "Reward" offered.

Anybody with an RS2 notice the comment about the RS2 having a speed limiter? Supposedly it limited the top speed to 262 kph whereas without it, the top speed was 275 kph. If there was a speed limiter, it would probably be similar to the red coding plug used in the UrS4s and UrS6s sent to North America to limit the speeds to 130 mph (208 kph) for liability (tire bursting) reasons.

Did a search on "speed limiter" with "Mihnea" as the user name. Nothing. Did a general search on "speed limiter" and got a few threads but none very old and none with Mihnea involved as far as I found.

Thanks for the link to that thread. So the RS2s *did* have a coding plug (or the limit could be reset during remapping). The best line in the thread (IMO) was:

Maybe its something Porsche wanted on the car to stop the RS2's flyin past their 911's
