I was looking at the pics from a link someone posted and I did not think anything of it.Its only after a member here pointed to me that the enigne had 4 sparl plugs and not 5
It appears to be a 3A engine but id like to know what head he is using and what other specs the engine has.

I think I posted it Wizard, it was from the web site one of the members has listed as their home page. It's a big job but go through all the members lists and look at their home pages.....
It's an interesting job which is why I was doing it. He was an infrequent mamber from Scandinavie IIRC.

Thanks
you mean you attempted to turbo the 3A engine?
For Manifolds ,etc i had to use pictures of the IMSA GT car and replicate as good as possible. But if only i had seen these pics before.....
The picture posted above is not from the IMSA cars, but the Audi 80 quattro Supertourisimo's that raced in France in the early 90's by the likes of Frank Biela etc.
It just so happens we have one of those cars in England now, was a Castle Combe for ADI, engine is a four cylinder 8v unit (sorry,,,not sure if it's a 1.8 or 2.0) producing around 400bhp which is adjustable in the cabin to 600+bhp, and they were built for Audi by Roc Engineering.
The car is owned by my fellow Audi Owners Club members Tim Cooper and Jan Van Neirop from QRSport. We recently had the car on our club stand at the NEC Classic car show 3 weeks ago.
Sorry I've not got an email for Tim Or Jan (only got a phone number, which I won't post in an open thread, Pm me if needed)
but you can always come over to audifans.net and speak to them on there,,,,,usernames are either Imsatim or QRSport.
Once over there, if you have any probs, Pm me (jas11n).
Tim and Jan will be more than happy to help you with any questions you have on that particular engine.
