........my ar*e
My loan car is a brand new (200 miles) A3 2.0 FSi.
Gutless or what...
Its feels like driving a 2.0 with a single SU carb.
As far as I can tell the fuel economy comes from the lack of fuel injected at W-O-T. Even our 2.0 Passat Bus feels like it has more go in it.
I'm sure I'm missing the finer points of this engine given the Le Mans performance, but if this is the future of petrol engines my next car will be a TDi
On the plus side the handling if the new A3 is excellent. The steering is too light and vague for my taste (more vague than a stock S2 set-up:eek2: )
Rant over, I want my own car back.....
