Audi 80 DTM

The car was developed for the Class I rules (DTM) for the 1993 season, but the project was dropped in favour of the Class II (super touring) rules with the Audi 80 Competition which saw Audi enter the Super Touring category for the bulk of that decade. This prototype is beautiful and we can only imagine what could have been had it been raced.

There is so much I love about this 80! . . but 3 things I can't stand
1. The exhaust!
2. The rear bumper
3. The rear spoiler!

no noise, there were only 2 built, as the dtm rules changed and audi abandoned the project, turned into the STW with the 80 competition
