alas most of them have been broken... a victim of their market value which was always less than the sum of their parts
You only need to search the for sale seciton on here to see how many have been broken in the last 2-3 years. Hopefully values now on the up

I know of around 5 on dests registar that have gone to meet there maker, plus another three that have gone to germany for parts.

3x I think andy g had and are gone now
5x jonny bravo had and are gone (one thru madwolf)
the pirates avant went to germany for parts
poor boys avant I think went to germany/poland for parts
another blue one went to germany for parts
sal had 2 or 3 for parts
trist28 had a couple that was involved in accidents so ended up as parts
mark on here had a red one that ended up as parts, the engines in ross's old ruby rs2 rep
vrs in northampton I think had 2x one's and then wills own pearl one went for parts for his saloon (the pearl one had issue's)
there have been a couple that was used for shorty's and the like.
Gavs20v had a emerald green one that went for parts

Quite a few of them have gone for parts but at the same time its helping people keep other cars on the road and helping people in the states get some s2 bits they wouldn't normally have the chance of.

TBH, I considered breaking mine a few months back as it got to the stage where it needs loads of money spent on it and as stated before, it's worth much more in bits that anyone would likely give me for a car to drive.

Such thoughts quickly passed tho, now it'll be getting some work done and I have an 80 tdi to use (abuse) while the S2 is off the road.
