In case you have never seen this info, from two UK eBay wins (1996 and 1997 MY Audi line brochures and price lists) before I left on holidays in early November):

1997 Model Year UrS6 Description (Note: Nogaro (RS2) Blue and Misano Red are no cost options exclusive to the UrS6 (we normally think of them as S6Plus colours but they were also available on the AAN-equipped UrS6):

Agree. That avant/estate photo is actually from the S6Plus brouchure (originally). Even then, the S6Pluses were never that low either.

Still got the original sales brochure somewhere that came with mine it has loads of colour and extra options but none that actually were present on mine as all my spec was '97 s6plus which the AAN runout models came with.

Yabut - while is was "only" 735 GBP for the cloth front Recaros, the leather version was a whopping 1821 GBP. Not for the weak of pocket book back then.

Thats my point
The cloth Recaros were a cheap option in the scheme of things, compared to say standard leather seats which are pretty common.
