Anyone been to Audi Museum Ingolstadt??

Im currently living in germany so im going to go tomorrow, its a 3 hour drive each way but im on company diesel
I wanted to do a production tour but thats only available on weekdays.

So will just be museum admission and guided tour. Will keep an eye out for the elusive black RS2 'loon as that does make an appearance occasionally in the museum, and i know there is a red s2 coupe in there somewhere.

Has anybody been and can you recommend anything i should be sure not to miss??

Well worth the drive....Highly recommend! I was there Aug 2010 and you can spend a whole day in the museum mobile with a break für mittagessen right across the plaza in the Marktrestaurant for some dee-lish schnitzel.

Only been to the Porsche museum. Audi was far off my course. Besides the rs2 is only on the porsche museum, and the garage at the time I was there...how typical!

I'm talking of the rs2 Avant which they actually produced. They put the saloon in there when officially only made 4 cars or something

Look at that pic, right next to the sedan there is an actual RS2. Why wouldnt they have an RS2 in the Audi museum? It´s mainly an Audi anyway.

The RS2s (both Saloon and Avant) are kept in the Audi Tradition wharehouse facility (where the previous picture was taken).

All models (specially prototypes see the Pininfarina Quartz in the picture) are been displayed on the revolving "Pater Noster" in the museum facility randomly, it's just a matter of luck.....
