Thanks for sharing your pics with us. Don't stay too long in Germany we want to see all the other pics some time soon.
I hope to make my pilgrimage to the holy museum some day too.
Nice. It looks like you struck lucky with the RS2 Sedan.
That is a strange ABY engine in the museum. I remember Ben and I studied it for ages, looking at odd parts on it, like the AAN distributor for a start.
Thanks to Ben, I think we got a photo of every vehicle in the museum on the day we went.

Haha, yeah i remember that. I was thinking the same when i saw that picture but couldn't remember if it was the distributer or the DV that was wrong
That's a fantastic selection on display at the moment. That cabriolet looks just like my old one. Love the RS2 Saloon as well, hopefully mine will look a bit like that sometime in the future. I'll be sure to visit that museum one day, it always seems to be on the wrong side of Germany when I'm there!
92 Audi 80 Quattro => RS2 Saloon!

96 Subaru Legacy GT-B
Unfortunately (or fortunately, at least its used!) the saloon was not so mint...
Yes I agree with that...
Unfortunately the RS2 saloon was really in poor conditions IMHO not to put on display at the museum.
Rusty underneath..... and if I remember well it had also some missing bits
Yeah its a real shame that its not better kept, but im guessing it was used for quite a while and then not restored before dispay in the museum, i tried to highlight in that picture that there is a really nasty scratch below the bump strip on the door that has been badly touched up. It would have looked loads better with a jet wash and waxoyl underneath and a new set of tyres. (And respray that door...)
But i suppose it is interesting for the few people that know the rarity of this essentially "concept" car that it was actually used...

this car was one of ferdinand piechs personal rides during his time in ingolstadt. he used it for a few years, so it´s a bit of a legend and will be kept in this ontouched shape.
Piech is a legend! i didnt know he used to use it, thats pretty cool!!
