    UrS4/S6 instrument cluster differences

Should be plug and play into an UrS6 (I just tried an UrS6 cluster in my 98 C4 A6 last week and it worked fine). Don't think they work in an UrS4 (or 100) because of harness differences.

Some of the UrS4/S6 instrument cluster differences are discussed here:

It has worked in my 1995.5 S6. Did not physically fit mind you but did work electrically. Just needed to recode it with VAG COM to USA, 5-cylinder, 5-cylinder turbo from Great Britain, 6-cylinder, 6-cylinder . Did not show Boost, but MPG as Boost was not on the TC display. No matter to me as I have a boost gauge fitted. I think I can use the trip computer portion of the A6 cluster. Beats looking at the black square in the middle of the USA version S6 cluster. Will do a write up on it when the harness from the IC to the trip computer switch is grafted from the spare UrS4 harness in to the UrS6 harness. Have the stalk switch from an S6+ ! Thanks to Jamie & to all who have supplied parts & information.
