diagnostic display in air vent

is there anyone who knows these displays:

would be pretty cool on the S2
but will it work on the S2... it uses the "large" diagnostics connection of the newer cars. but our 2x2 is good enough for vagcom, so maybe it will work?

Connect up vag-com to your car and select the Engine Management Controller and check to see what communications protocol is used by your car. If the protocal is shown as KW1281, KWP2089, KWP2000 or CAN then the liquid will work with your car. If it is anything else then it may not work.

not near the car now, does anyone know this by heart?
