Any Excel whizz kids out there? Need help.

Yesterday while logging some "new" 20VT magazines into my magazine organizing spreadsheet, there was some kind of electronic burp and changed 192 hyperlinks from

    file:///K:\Dave\S-carCD\themagazine.pdf (K: is a 16 Gb memory stick in a USB port).

    to

    file:///C:\Users\Dave\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Excel\them agazine.pdf

Naturally that occurred at the moment of a save (and I have no previous version back up that I want to use - too old).

I tried search and replace but apparently it won't search into a hyperlink.

I presume this could be done with a macro but I have never written or applied one before.

Successful help will be rewarded. Otherwise, I am looking at manually deleting and re-establishing each of the 192 hyperlinks.

Click on Tools menu and click Options. Click on the Save tab. Is the "Save AutoRecover info every" box checked?
If so, what is the Autorecover save location path? Whatever it is that is where you may find what you need.

If that doesn't bear fruit, and you don't mind, send me the file and I'll take a look at it for you.

I forgot to mention that the filenames of Autorecover files are abitrary so you need to select the one with the latest date and time stamp. Autorecover files are hidden by default and have a .xar extension.

Sorry. Someone from my home forum has fixed part of it (and intends to complete it (2 other tabs) today. I think he used some kind of IF statement to do the changes.
