Hard in that most interior plastic rattles on idle, but also hard in that the engine doesn't move even with rapid rev changes and acceleration. I destroyed a brand new stock pair inside 2k miles.

Depends what you want from the car I guess and what you run.

I fitted new stock engine mounts with a Rusty poly snub mount, and new gearbox mounts. I had a very 'sloppy' engine before and it's tightened it right up. My hope is that the snub mount will prolong the life of stock engine mounts - time will tell. Idle/normal driving I dont notice any difference, WOT there is a bit more vibration about 5k> but barely noticable.

Getting into Sonics car - as a passenger - it was immediately noticable that it's more solid on Bambridge mounts, not at all as bad as I expected but a bit more vibration than I would want with as a daily driver. Once on the move was surprised at how civilised it felt actually, if my stock mounts die I'd be interested in a set.

I ran a stock snub with track density mounts and had no issues for 2 + years on them.

making sure all mounts are good helps the others stay together as we all know

Great mounts, they are more solid than stock but as said depends what you use the car for and it's easy to destroy stock mounts with uprated bhp.

034 mounts are an alternative but they sit the engine higher be aware if you have a reverse inlet manifold this is not an option.

I ran o34 with reverse and no bonnet cutting just a slight ding where the cable holder is.

id still go bambridge as I will when putting mine together again.
