I need some info so i am appealing to those of more knowledge than me when it comes to S2's.
Who is the 'anorak' who will have the answer.
In UR terms the very first UK car was HYL 4W in Saturn Bronze which is well documented.BUT who knows which was the first S2 in the UK?
Kenquattro on Classic-Audi may have your answer, he's pretty clued up on early S2's and their registrations, he recently posted in some info regarding some of the early cars in this thread http://www.classic-audi.co.uk/forum/...ad.php?t=30141, not exactly what you're after but it's a start.
1990 B3 2.0 80 quattro.
1992 C4 2.8 Avant quattro
1994 MTM RS2.
1998 B5 TDI quattro Sport.

Ooo....only one number away from being immortalized (H140 vs H141).
RS2'd 93 UrS4 5 spd sedan
94 UrS4 V8 6 spd manual avant
Absolutely no pictures of my car in any road tests anywhere, did also find 139 and 142 in some but not mine, apparently it was sold when it was around 8 weeks old to a company director who kept it until 2006, I bought it in 2008 its currently sat on the drive looking rather sad awaiting attention as although its only done 98,000 and the general condition is good (apart from laquer peel) it smokes like a tramp steamer even after a newly refurbished turbo so I think it needs valve seals/guides and new rings as it appears to have spent its entire life in local traffic, luckily I have a 70,000 RR engine available which is a peach if the original needs a rebore.
Only changes I've made are a chip upgrade from superchips, the dyno readout on its original fitment shows it producing 285BHP and a heated leather interior.
H744 TNV was registered 16 May 1991.
H133 YVV was registered 5 December 1990.
H138 YVV was registered 1 January 1991.
H141 YVV was registered 1 January 1991.
My Avant has some press shots of it somewhere... I have printed copies and cant rememebr the name of the magazine. Its believed to be the first or second Avant out there so has the ABY engine but a few 3b charactersitics in the looks... non ellipsoids, no roof rails, orange indicators and the 3b wheels.... and mine looks like a peach again now thanks to years and loads of money lol
