I have several magazines from back in the day (e.g. late 92, 93 and 94) and I think everyone of them that shows the S2 avant at the time of introduction shows them sporting the five spoke "3B" S2 wheels.

Yup all early avants have those wheels and I think for the first few they didnt have the rails and all the early avants had the orange indicators.

I still have all the orange lenses and the wheels which i have had recut so it can go back to looking exactly how it does in the articles.

The first few definitely did not have the roof bars. Not 100% but i think the orange indicators were changed to clear for the 1994 model year so might appear in late 1993 brochures as clear.

              Poor you.

I have to pay more on eBay.uk and then pay at least £5.00 for shipping.

I have that fastlane magazine and have it scanned. Too big to upload here though.

So my car H140YVV was 1 day earlier than H133YVV as my DVLA registration document definitely states 4th December 1990 which appears a bit strange.

Ours wasn't a press car but a dealer car, first registered as L9 AFN (Archibald Fraser Nash) It was delivered as an early UK S2 Estate with the 3B alloys and a few optional extras in August 93 to AFN Isleworth.

This is it a few years ago with the original 3B wheels on...

Its running Avus at the moment...
