I am a father of 1 so understand there! In the current climate that might be a good decision as no one knows where the economy is going to go especially if things get even hotter than they already are between East and West meaning Putin and EU leaders. It could get a whole lot more scary than it already is causing markets to faulter or crash!

i wouldn't bother myself. s2 coupe is just as wobbly as any other coupe and you car is no 1.3 escort trying to be a turbo.

id take an avant or saloon to go with the coupe. if any. you will end up with 1 car not driven id expect.

Alex, I'm in the same position but already owning the S2 lol.

I'm torn between trying to sort it and knowing i dont have the skills myself to keep the cost under control or being OCD enough to release it to someone who can....or finding a new shell and rehoming the engine which was rebuilt by DJones on here a couple of years back plus the other solid bits from mine.
