Reversing lights upgrade?

I haven't managed to find anything useful on the subject hence... new thread it is! Has anyone managed to successfully upgrade their reversing lights on a RS2/S2/80 Avant using either LEDs or any other type of light bulb that's more powerful than the standard ones? I'm fed up with wasting money on crappy LEDs that aren't actually brighter than the standard bulbs. Has anyone got any good suggestions or a reliable source for buying really bright LEDs?

I've put some led bulbs that are brighter but can't remember where I got them from. I could take a photo of what they look like

I have fitted CRE based bulbs, got them from ebay, they were expensive and probably there are better ones now with more LEDs.... more the better...

Thanks A80Avant if you happen to have one lying aroung then yes it would be very helpful to send me a photo, but I don't want to ask you to pull them out of the light cluster

I can find a huge variety of cree led bulbs on ebay but because they're expensive I'm a bit reluctant to buy without having to research a bit more into it. Are you happy with yours RS2junkie? I don't mind them being expensive as long as it's a good product.

The bulbs I used have now been upgraded to this 291168018891 (ebay number), which should be an improvement as it will spread the light out to the side and use the reflector in the light unit which the ones I have now don't do. I am going to give them a try
