S2 ABY Valuation HELP

Last week Tuesday in London we had snow. I was driving my daughters ford Fiesta, I was only doing around 3-5 mph as you do. Go outside ov my home, got l side by side with the S2 ready to reverse park behind her, when all ov a sudden I heard a noise seconds after I was jolted from the passenger side which then pushed my right hand side into the S2s passengers side. It was some bird doing around 35-30 in the snow. She hit a car on the left, thats the noise I heard before she hit me.

Anyway long story short, employed a solicitor to organise engineer assessment. The report says my S2 worth £1500, salvage £150 so net worth £1350. (they put repairs at £3500) Im so mad coz it's worth more, now I have to prove it....any ideas? Ive looked for 'sold S2 Quattros' on google but am only findin 'for sale' which I assume doesnt prove much...

So anyone have evidence of 1994 ABY S2 sold prices?
Or do i get classic car company to value it...?

My car has an agreed value of £5000 with the insurer and should really be quite a bit more than that.

For sale adverts are all you can offer, so find adverts and send them off.

£1500 is an insult and the 'Engineer' obviously hasn't done his research.

1994 ABY that's dog rough is worth over £3k, anything decent £5k, mint £6k+.

I have a £6k agreed valuation on mine also. As Andy says find some ads and sold adverts of a similar condition S2 to yours and you can go back to negotiate. Insurers will try to pay as little as they can get away with

I sent a list of 'for sale' ads to my solicitor, in their hands to take it further... u kno im not budging

yeah likewise mine is on an agreed value policy at £6k. Hope you get a decent outcome, thats crazy given the damage...or lack of!

I will be interested in what they have to say to your request as your S2 is a show winning car so it's bloody immaculate lol!! And these cars are creeping up in value

to be honest the first offer on my 96 aby with full leather glass roof etc etc in excellent condition and just touching 100k was 2500. so expect the worse
