    RS2 radiador diferences

    Hello,

I am curtently um need os a new radiador for mu 1995 RS2. Went to te family álbum nas got 893121351S as the proper pn. Thing is everytime I'm getting in stores a different pn 893121351G as if its the same. Since I can't afford to buy the wrong one, anybody would know of differences between pn g and pn s? Are they interchangable? Any help would be great!

    Regards

You have the wrong part number. It should be 893121251S (251S not 351S) for the main radiator. The smaller additional radiator is PN 895121251.

Maybe that will help you find what you need.

Sorry! I was using an old iPhone to type that and had some typos! I understand the pn is 251S or 251G. My point actually is: do they differ or are they interchangeable in the RS2?

      Regards!

The 893121251S is the B4 ABY and B4 RS2 ADU radiator. The 251G is the B3 3B and NG radiator. Might work instead of a 251S but it is good to know that the 251S was not just for the RS2 alone. The 251S is also the B4 Audi 80 non-quattro radiator for vehicles with an automatic transmission in warm countries with air conditioners. That might make finding a 251S easier.

I would think that the 251G would work but it will be a bit too small. There is always a reason why the factory changes a part, in this case it would be more cooling capacity in the 251S than the 251G.

I've had both side by side and other than a small bracket the dims and capacity is identical... increased cpapcity of ABY/ADU comes from larger aux rad.
But the main rad as far as I could tell from visual inspection are interchangable and dimentially identical.
